X-KentHouse KnockOut

So, with the league obviously not even remotely important, it's time to turn our attention to the Knock-Out cup.

After the exciting group stages, 4 teams emerged for the semi-finals:

Marrocco Villa
THE SCIENCE MASTERS
The Winwinwinnerteam
Mass Confusion

One semi-final is done and dusted. The Science Masters have mastered the Science of Fantasy, and defeated Mass Confusion with a game to spare (49 points (plus Silva still to play) vs 41 points), and will be in the final against either Marrocco Villa or The Winwinwinner Team. Marrocco Villa are sitting on 50 points with Kolarov and Yaya Toure still to play, while The Winwinwinner Team have an impressive 63 points, with Huth, Kolarov and Silva still to play.

So it looks likely to this pundit that THE SCIENCE MASTERS will be facing The Winwinwinner Team in the final of the X-KentHouse KnockOut, and anything could happen in the final week.

    Oh wait, I just checked... NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE KNOCKOUT!

    Keep your eyes on hanging onto that Europa League place Bissett, otherwise it will be a season of utter disappointment.

    have to agree that no one really cares about the knockout. on the other hand, i have somehow contrived to win my public knockout league (scott's in it too), so knockouts are important for that little carling cup-esque boost in confidence which arsenal could learn from.

    Yeah, i'd forgotten all about it, then discovered i'd done well... So now i'm obviously going to make a big deal about it. I feel the knock-out winner should get into the champs league. Of if the winner is already in, then obviously the other finalist gets in. To conclude, the science masters are going to europe baby.

    No one has ever qualified for the Champions League by winning a cup. FACT. Champions league is top 4 teams.

    You can get a Europa League spot if you want, but then that competition would be extended to 6th place finisher and therefore leave everyone happy - something that even me, in my precarious position - would not be in favour of. Failure is a part of life which must be represented here!

    The winner should get something. Europa spot would be fine. But I don't know what the point or format of the european spots is going to be.

    And not everyone will be happy. Barnes doesn't qualify for shit, and he's been doing transfers (and hence playing) all the time.
